OPERATION SUNSET STRIKE AND OPERATION TOUCH
DOWN OF THE NORTHERN REGION, RESULTED IN ARREST
OF SUSPECTS FOR OUTSTANDING WARRANTS AND
POSSESSION OF DANGEROUS DRUGS

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Thursday 11th October 2018, Law Enforcement Officers ( Police and Immigration Officers) in Central Abaco launched “Operation Touch Down”, where (40) persons were cited for various traffic infractions, (4) persons arrested for outstanding Warrants and (5) persons arrested for Immigration purposes.

Also on the same date, in Grand Bahama, Operation Sunset Strike was launched between the hours of 5:00pm - 11:00pm. This operation resulted in the arrest of (5) persons who were wanted for outstanding warrants and persons who were arrested for possession of Dangerous Drugs.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force in Grand Bahama led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Mr. Samuel Butler and Commissioner of Police Mr. Anthony Ferguson, stands resolute to continue in the fight against crime. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Grand Bahama and Abaco for their continued support in this endeavor.
