Police in Abaco and Grand Bahama conduct road checks.
In keeping with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2015, Officers of the Abaco and Grand Bahama Traffic Department on Monday 1st June 2015, conducted road checks on Don McKay and Sherlin Archer Blvd. in Abaco and in Grand Bahama on Ponce de Leon Drive. A total of 45 persons were cited for various traffic infractions.
The Royal Bahamas Police Force would like to take this opportunity to encourage the Grand Bahama and the Abaco community to drive within the speed limit, to always wear their seat belts and to have their vehicles licensed and insured for the year 2015.
