Today, Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) issued the Request for Proposal (RFP) for an on-site hotel at Lynden Pindling International Airport. The successful proponent will design, finance, construct and operate the hotel to meet the needs of domestic and international travelers.

Interested parties can now access the full RFP document online at www.nassaulpia.com/RFP-public where they will find details on submission requirements as well as important deadlines for the application process...

NAD to issue request for proposals for airport hotel - Jan 13, 2019 - 1:32:33 PM

Officials at the Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) are seeking proponents to design, finance, construct and operate an on-site hotel at Lynden Pindling International Airport. On Monday, January 21, the company will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) document outlining details required to bid on the proposed airport hotel project. Final proposal submissions will be due on Friday, May 24, 2019.

NAD anticipates bids from a range of capable proponents and encourages interested parties to consider forming teams to respond to the opportunity. Respondent teams may be assembled in a variety of ways, including through contracts, partnerships or joint ventures...

In a meeting between Civil Society Bahamas (CSB) and the Attorney General, The Honorable Carl Bethel, QC on 15 December 2018, the Attorney General stated that it was his intention for the Non-Profit Organisations Bill, 2018 to be revised and rescaled to more moderate regulation of the sector, in order to comply with the FATF. The Attorney General also expressed his intention to continue to review the Bill for opportunities to minimise damage to the capacity of this important sector.
