21 illegal immigrants arrested in Abaco

ABACO, Bahamas - Police in Abaco have arrested (21) Illegal Immigrants.

Reports are that on Thursday 8th May 2014 sometime around 11:45pm, PoliceOfficers, Defence Force Officers and Immigration Officers in Marsh Harbour Abaco, acting on information went to Snake Cay where they arrested (21) illegal Haitian Nationals namely: four females, sixteen males and one juvenile. They were all brought to the Marsh Harbour Police Station for safekeeping and later handed over to Immigration Authorities.

Investigations are continuing in this matter.
