“SUSPECTS ARRAIGNED ON RAPE CHARGES - BIMINI” 

Freeport, Bahamas - On Friday 7th February 2014, seven male suspects were arraigned before Deputy Chief Magistrate Helen Jones in Magistrate Court #3 on Rape charges.

Charma Valentine Cox age 21 years of Seabreeze Drive, New Providence

Crentone Livingston Brookes age 18 years of Sandilands Village, New Providence

Tericco Lemant Smith age 31 years of Sandilands Village, New Providence  

Ridge Shado Farquharson age 20 years of Seabreeze Lane, New Providence

Desmond Thomas Greenslade age 26 years of Faith Avenue South, New Providence  

Natico Bertrum Symonette age 20 years of West End Avenue, Coconut Grove, New Providence  

Fabian Garrette Major age 27 years of Long Island    

The matter was adjourned to the 6th May 2014 for a Preliminary Inquiry, they werenot required to enter a plea and were remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.  They were represented by attorney’s Carlson Shurland, Calvin Seymour and Raoul Maynard respectively.  

This is in connection to the incident reported to Bimini Police on Sunday, 2 February 2014.
