PLANE CRASH TREASURE CAY ABACO

Abaco, Bahamas - Police can confirm that a plane has crashed at Abaco. At present no additional information is available; however, as additional information becomes available you will be updated.

POLICE CITE 567 TRAFFIC OFFENDERS

In keeping with the Commissioner of Police Policing Plan for 2012,”Enforcing the Rules of the Road”, police throughout the country have taken a zero tolerance approach to all traffic infractions.

During the past week, police throughout the capital cited seven hundred and
ninety-one (791) drivers and placed six hundred and fifty-one (651) matters
before the courts. Some of the offences for which persons were cited include: Failing to keep left, unlicensed and uninspected vehicle, no identification plates, license disc not properly affixed, leaving vehicle with engine engaged, turning improperly, causing obstruction, driving on a closed street, and parking in a no parking area.
