Seizure of Proceeds Derived from Criminal Conduct in Grand Bahama - Freeport, Bahamas - Drug Enforcement Officers uncover large sum of money believed to be proceeds derived from criminal conduct.

Reports are that on Thursday 2nd October 2014 around 4:30pm, Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit while in the terminal area of the Grand Bahama International Airport conducted a searched of a male and discovered on his person a large sum of money to which he could not give a satisfactory account of how he came into possession of it. He was arrested and taken into police custody and the money in the amount of $12,119.00 seized. Investigations are continuing.

Ammunition Found in Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Thursday 2nd October 2014 shortly before 10:00am, Officers of the Eastern Division acting on information went to an area in Coral Gardens and discovered (1) small plastic grocery bag containing (10) live rounds of 9mm ammunition. The ammunition were collected and this matter is under police investigations.
