Eleuthera man missing after boat overturns

Search and rescue efforts are ongoing to locate a man who went missing at sea in waters off Eleuthera on Saturday 26th December 2015.

According to reports, shortly after 11:00am, two men were fishing in waters three miles off Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera, Bahamas when their boat capsized, throwing the two of them into the water. One of the men was able to swim to a nearby cay where he was rescued by a passing boater. However, the other man identified, as 39 – year old Robin Cadet of Governors Harbour remains missing.

Police along with Royal Bahamas Defense Force officers are leading the search and rescue efforts.
