EXUMA, The Bahamas - A 37-year old man is in custody in connection with the death of his wife who was discovered dead on Sunday 1st February 2015.

According to reports, sometime last night the victim and her husband had an altercation at their home located at Georgetown, Exuma, that resulted in the victim receiving injuries to her neck area. Around 8:00am this morning the victim was found at their residence unresponsive. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police later took the suspect into custody in connection with this incident.
