LONG ISLAND, The Bahamas - Police are investigating the discovery of a woman found dead in Long Island on Saturday 29th November 2014.

According to reports, shortly after 8:00am, police in Long island received a report that a woman was found dead at a home located at Deadman's Cay.

Police on arrival at the scene met the lifeless body of a woman with stabbed wounds and her hands and feet bound. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

POLICE are appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of wanted persons or any information about crimes and other illegal activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328- TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or the nearest Police Station
