Police in Eleuthera investigate traffic fatality

Eleuthera, Bahamas - POLICE in Eleuthera are investigating a traffic accident that has left a 31 – year old woman of Palmetto Point dead on Saturday 6th June 2015.

According to reports, shortly after 9:00am, police received a report of fatal accident at Cotton Bay Estates, South Eleuthera. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a female on the ground with injuries outside of a wrecked overturned 2002 blue Volkswagen vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Preliminary reports indicate, that the victim was driving on the main road in South Eleuthera when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into nearby bushes where the vehicle overturned.

Officers from the RBPF Traffic Department, New Providence, traveled to Eleuthera to assist with the investigations.
