23 Haitian Nationals arrested during Bahamas Police Operation in Harbour Island

Harbour Island, Bahamas - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, a team of police officers at Harbour Island conducted an operation on that island during the early morning of Tuesday 21st October 2014 that resulted in the apprehension of 23 undocumented Haitian nationals. The Haitian nationals were subsequently handed over to immigration officials on that island.

POLICE are also appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of wanted persons or any information about crimes and other illegal activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or the nearest Police Station
