RBPF: Dangerous drug arrest in Abaco

Abaco, Bahamas - Two males are in police custody after they were found in possession of dangerous drugs in Abaco

Reports are that on Tuesday 28th May 2019 shortly after 7:00pm, a team of officers, acting on information, went to a residence in Spring City, where they arrested two males for possession of dangerous drugs and cultivation of marijuana plants. They are expected to be formally arraigned before the Magistrate Court this week.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS) OR THE CENTRAL DETECTIVE UNIT AT 350-3106/12.

CRIME PREVENTION TIP – TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
