RBPF: 2 men are in police custody following a brazen armed robbery in Abaco

Abaco, Bahamas - Reports are that on Saturday 2nd March 2019 shortly before 10:00pm, two males one armed with a firearm and the other with a knife, entered a business establishment on Don McKay Boulevard, Marsh Harbor, Abaco, where they robbed the cashier of cash and two male customers of cash and personnel items before fleeing on foot.

A short time later and as a result of diligent police investigation, two males ages 24/25 years old both from Coopers Town, Abaco, were arrested and are assisting police with this investigation.

Investigation will continue.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS).

PERSONAL SAFETY TIPS – Take a stand against illegal firearms by cooperating with the police in providing information regarding the whereabouts of any illegal firearm.
