RBPF: 3 males in custody following a large drug bust in waters off Andros Island

According to reports, shortly after 6:00am Friday, 3rd May, 2019 Drug Enforcement Unit Officers, Marine Support Services Officers and U.S Law Enforcement Officers intercepted a 27ft white speed boat in waters twenty (20) miles southwest of South Andros. A search of the vessel uncovered forty-three (43) crocus sacks with suspected marijuana. Three adult Bahamian males who were on board, were taken into custody and are expected to be formally charged before the Magistrate Court next week.
