Shooting incident in Abaco, 1 in hospital, 2 arrests

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating a shooting incident that has left a 19 year old male in hospital.

Reports are that on Sunday 16th August 2015 shortly before 5:00am, police received information that a male while in the area of a business establishment situated in Dundas Town, Abaco, was shot to his right hand by a male unknown to him with a firearm. He was taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic by private vehicle and was seen by doctor. He is listed in stable condition.

Two males both of Central Pines, Abaco were arrested and are assisting police with their investigation into this matter.

Police are actively investigating.
