RBPF Abaco: Illegal immigrants arrested - Operation Spot Check held

Arrest of Illegal Immigrants in Abaco, Bahamas -   Police in Abaco have arrested (6) illegal Immigrants in the Mudd Community.  

Reports are on Wednesday 5th March 2014 at 3:30pm, officers in Abaco acting on information went into the Mudd Community where they discovered six undocumented Haitian Nationals three males and three females. They were all arrested and taken into police custody.

 Immigration authorities were informed, investigations are continuing.  

"Operation Spot Check" in Abaco -  In keeping with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan 2014, Officers of the Abaco Division on Tuesday 4th March 2014 between the hours of 5:25pm- 7:30pm,conducted a road check in the S.C Bootle Highway area in Treasure Cay where a number of motorist were cited for various Road Traffic violations.  

The Royal Bahamas Police Force remains focus in its mandate to enforce the rules of the road and is cautioning persons who are in violation that they will be dealt with to the fullest extinct of the law.
