RBPF drug arrest in Abaco

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are reporting that on Thursday 10th March 2016, shortly before 7:00am, officers conducted a road check in the area of Fire Road and Stratton Drive, where a black Nissan Infiniti was stopped and a male passenger was discovered with a quantity of suspected marijuana in his possession. He was arrested, taken into police custody and is expected to be charged in the Magistrate Court sometime next week.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) or 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
