RBPF: Police Investigates traffic fatality in Long Island

Police on Long Island are investigating a traffic accident which left an adult male dead, Wednesday, 26thtSeptember, 2018.

According to reports, shortly after 2:00pm, a male was driving a blue 2008 Honda Accord car in the area of McKenzie Hill, Hard Bargain, Long Island, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall. Medical Personnel were called to the scene, attempted to revive the victim but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officers from the RBPF Traffic Department will travel to Long Island to assist with this investigation.

  • Keep vehicles locked, with the windows up at all times when parked at home or work.
  • Remove all valuables including purses, cell phones, laptop computers and other electronic items, gym bags and briefcases from your vehicle.
