Reports are that on Saturday 7th May 2016 shortly before 5:00pm, Defense
Force Officers on board HMBS Cascarilla, while in the Cat Cay area
stopped and searched a 40ft vessel where they discovered (2) 9mm pistols
along with (56) rounds of ammunition on board after having fail to
declare to Bahamas Customs. Three American males were taken into custody
along with the vessel and later handed over to officers in Bimini. They
are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court this week.
