RBPF: Police investigate alledged drowning in waters of the Exuma Cays

Police are investigating an alleged drowning, Sunday, 16th December, 2018, which occurred in waters of the Exuma Cays.

According to reports, shortly before 11:00am, a group of persons were on a diving excursion in the Exuma Cays, between Highborns Cay and Allan Cay, when one of the divers, an adult male, was discovered unresponsive in the water. He was pulled from the waters, and CPR was administered, but was unsuccessful. He was transported to a hospital on New Providence, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations are ongoing
