Shooting incident at Abaco nightclub, 2 injured

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco are investigating the circumstances surrounding a shooting incident that has left two males hospitalized.

Reports are that on Saturday 1st October 2016 shortly after 1:00am, police were called to a nightclub situated on West Bay Street, Dundas Town, Abaco, where an altercation with a group of males occurred and gunshots were fired that resulted in two males receiving gunshot wounds to the body. Both males were taken to the Marsh Harbour Clinic and were seen by doctor where they were later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention.

Police are actively investigating this matter.
