Traffic Fatality in Abaco

Abaco, Bahamas - Police in Abaco, are investigating a traffic accident that has left an individual dead.

Reports are, that after 8:00pm, on Friday 23rd February 2018, the police in Treasure Cay Abaco, received a report, of (2) two vehicles being on fire, as a result of a traffic accident, just above Treasure Cay. It was also reported, that a passenger was trapped in one of them.

On arrival, the officers with the assistance of the Treasure Cay Fire Department, were able to extinguish the fire to both vehicles, and while making checks, found human remains burnt beyond recognition in one of them. Several passengers were assisted to the Marsh Harbour Medical Centre where they were treated. 

Police are actively investigating this matter.
