Dangerous drugs found in Bimini abandoned building

Bimini, Bahamas - Police in Bimini are investigating the discovery of a quantity of Dangerous Drugs.

Reports are that on Thursday 15th February 2018, shortly after 3:00pm, officers of the Bimini Division went to an area in Alice Town, Queens Highway North Bimini, where they discovered in an abandoned building a clear plastic bag containing a quantity of suspected Dangerous Drugs namely cocaine. The estimated street value is seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00), no arrest was made in this matter, the Police are actively investigating.


POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)

CRIME PREVENTION TIP – TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
