1 dead after shooting at home in Millenium Gardens, Nassau

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the country’s latest homicide that has left one man dead and another detained in hospital occurred on Wednesday 16th April 2014.

Preliminary information indicates that around 12:10am the deceased along with another man were visiting a female friend at a home in Millennium Gardens, when a lone male armed with a firearm walked up to them and fired several shots at them before fleeing on foot. The decease was shot to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man was shot to the stomach and back, and was he was transported to hospital where he is detained in serious condition.
