$270,000 worth of drugs recovered by RBPF in Nassau

NASSAU – The enduring and dedicated work of the men and women of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, has led to a large quantity of dangerous drugs being recovered from the streets of New Providence, Friday, 27th September 2019.

Shortly after 10:00am, Mobile Division Officers acting on intelligence executed a search warrant on a home at Churchill Avenue, Chippingham and recovered forty (40) packages of suspected marijuana.

An adult male was taken into custody and assisting police with the investigation.


Weight: 270 pounds
Value: $270,000

Investigations are ongoing.
