2 homicides overnight in Nassau, police seek public's help

POLICE SEEK HELP IN APPARENT STABBING DEATH

Nassau, Bahamas - Reports are that shortly before 7:00am on Saturday 25th June 2016, police received a report of man found dead in a parking lot on Elizabeth Avenue. When officers arrived on the scene they met the body of a lifeless adult male who was apparently stabbed. The man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN SHOOTING DEATH

Police are searching for two male suspects believed to be responsible for a shooting incident that has left man dead on Friday 24th June 2016.

Reports are that shortly before 4:00pm, a man was standing in front of a yard on Hampton Street off Montrose Avenue, when two males armed with hand guns in a silver Honda Civic Vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was rush to hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed.Investigations are ongoing.
