Man shot dead leaving Nassau Village restaurant, manhunt underway for suspects - 2 armed robberies

POLICE LAUNCHED ISLAND-WIDE MANHUNT FOR TWO NASSAU VILLAGE MURDER SUSPECTS

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have launched an island-wide manhunt for two men who allegedly murdered a man yesterday.It is reported that about 4:00pm yesterday afternoon, a man was about enter his vehicle after leaving a restaurant on Alexander Boulevard, Nassau Village, when two men shot him multiple times about the body before fleeing on foot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN TWO SEPARATE ARMED ROBBERIES

In the first incident shortly before 3:00am this morning, a woman was at a business establishment located on Collins Avenue, when a man armed with a handgun robbed her of a small amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

In the second incident shortly after 3:00pm this morning, a man armed with a handgun broke into a home located on at Antigua Street off Carmichael Road, where he robbed a woman of a handbag before fleeing on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.
