Nassau Homicide: Fatal Shooting in Gambier Village

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left one man dead on Thursday 24th October 2013.

According to reports, around 8:30pm, the victim was at Gambier Village, when a man armed with a handgun approached him and shot him to the body before fleeing in the victim’s silver vehicle. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

A short while later police discovered the victim’s vehicle parked in the area of Orange Hill.

Police has launched an active investigation into this matter and are appealing to members of the public who may have any information to contact Police Emergency at 919 or Crime Stoppers Hotline at 328-TIPS (New Providence) or 300-8476 (Family Islands)

The Royal Bahamas Police Force takes the opportunity to thank the members of the general public for their continued cooperation and support.
