Nassau: Police probe prison inmate death - Search for murder suspect in Honday Civic

POLICE PROBE DEATH OF A PRISON INMATE

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a male inmate at The Bahamas Department of Correctional Services, who died in hospital on Friday 10th July 2015. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

POLICE SEARCHING FOR MURDER SUSPECT IN HONDA CIVIC CAR

Police are searching for the suspect responsible for a shooting incident this morning that has left a man dead and are appealing to members of the public to come forth with any information they might have.

Preliminary reports are that shortly after 11:30am this morning, a male had just exited his vehicle in front of a home located at East Street South, when he was approached by a man in a blue Honda Civic car who shot him multiple times about the body before speeding off. The male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing into this incident.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding these latest incidents, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
