Police Request Public's Assistance in Recent Homicide - (Nassau, Bahamas) Police are requesting the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Saturday 31st August 2013. According to reports, shortly before 8:00pm the victim was walking on a road at Freemans Subdivision, Nassau Village, when three (3) men in a white vehicle armed with firearms approached him and shot him multiple times about the body before speeding off. The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Investigations are ongoing.
Police Seek Public's Help with Saturday Armed Robbery - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating two (2) suspects responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on Saturday 31st August 2013. According to reports, shortly after 8:00pm the victim was about to enter her Honda Civic vehicle on Marathon Road, when two gunmen approached her, forced her into her vehicle and drove her to a local bank on Carmichael Road, where they made her withdrew an undisclosed amount of cash from an ATM machine. The gunman then drove to the St. Vincent Road area where the exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Investigations are ongoing.
