Nassau police seek help with 2 overnight shootings

Nassau, Bahamas - Police seek public’s help in solving two shooting incidents that has left a man dead and two men detain in hospital Saturday 29th August 2015.

In the first incident, shortly after 12:00am, a man was leaving a nightclub located on Faith Avenue South, when he was shot in the arm. The victim was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

In the second incident, shortly before 2:00am, police received a report of a shooting incident at Minnie Street. When police arrived on the scene they met the lifeless body of a man with multiple gunshot wounds and another man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man with suffering from multiple gunshot wounds was transported to hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
