Nassau police seek public's assistance with armed robberies inc. Silver Honda, gold Nissan Primera - Laird Street shooting

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN LOCATING SUSPECTS IN SEVERAL ARMED ROBBERIES

Nassau, Bahamas - In the first incident, shortly after 4:30am on Monday 24th August 2015, a man was on Cowpen Road, when two males armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of a silver Honda vehicle license number 29366 before speeding off.

In the second incident, shortly after 9:00am on Monday 24th August 2015, a woman was at her home located at Millennium Gardens, when two males armed with handguns forced their way inside and robbed her of five (5) Cell phones, a desk top computer and a large amount of cash before escaping in a blue Honda CRV vehicle.

In the third incident, shortly after 10:30am on Monday 24th August 2015, a woman was leaving her home located at West Bay Street, when two males armed with handguns robbed her of a deposit bag containing a large amount of cash before escaping in a gold Honda jeep.

In the fourth incident, shortly before 1:00am on Tuesday 25th August 2015, a man was on Rupert Dean Lane, when two men armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of a gold Nissan Primera vehicle before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING LAIRD STREET SHOOTING

According to reports, shortly after 8:30pm on Monday 24th August 2015, a man was walking through a track road located off Laird Street, when a male armed with a handgun approached and shot him in the leg before fleeing on foot. The man was rushed to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.Investigations are ongoing.
