Police searching suspect in overnight shooting
- POLICE are searching for a male suspect responsible for a shooting incident that has left a man detained in hospital on Sunday 23rd July 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 1:00am, a man was attending a party at a home in Pride Estates, when a man armed with a firearm fired several shots and shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.

Search continues for two suspects in yesterday’s shooting death - The search continues for two male suspects responsible for a shooting death that has left a man dead on Saturday 22nd July 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 6:00pm, a man was cleaning a vehicle on Silk Cotton Street off Buttonwood Avenue, Pinewood Gardens, when two male occupants of Suzuki Swift car armed with handguns, approached and shot him before speeding off. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to the public to share information on any Illegal/suspicious activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, members of the public are urged to anonymously contact the police at 919 or crime stoppers at 328-tips (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
