Nassau, Bahamas - A 21 year old female of New Providence
is in police custody after she was found with a quantity of dangerous
drugs namely cocaine.
Reports are that on Tuesday 16th February
2016 at 10:00am, U.S Customs and Border Protection while at the Grand
Bahama International Airport, searched the 21 year old female who
presented herself to the U.S pre-clearance section and discovered in her
knapsack, 4.6 pounds of suspected cocaine. She was arrested and taken
into custody by officers at the Grand Bahama International Airport.
She is expected to be charged before the Magistrate Court later this week.
