RBPF Nassau: Crime / arrest report Friday, April 11th

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are requesting the public’s help in solving an armed robbery that occurred on Thursday 10th April 2014.  

According to reports, shortly before 1:00pm, a man and a female armed with a handgun entered a convenient store located on Sea Breeze Land and robbed the proprietor of an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot. 

Investigations are ongoing. 

17 Arrested during Southeastern Division Operation -   Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Southeastern Division officers under the command of Superintendent Ashton Greenslade conducted an aggressive police operation in the division that targeted wanted persons and prolific offenders on Thursday 10th April 2014.  

The operation reaped the following results: 

 One (1) arrest for Possession of Dangerous Drugs 

One (1) arrest for Stolen Vehicle 

One (1) arrest for Unlawful Possession 

One (1) arrest for an Outstanding Court Warrant 

Two (2) arrests for Assault with a Deadly Weapon 

Two (2) arrests for Threats of Death 

Four (4) arrests for Breach of the Bail Act 

Five (5) arrests for House Breaking and Stealing 

  

POLICE are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands)
