POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING THE COUNTRY’S LATEST HOMICIDE.
Nassau, Bahamas - Police on New Providence are investigating a stabbing incident, Friday, 21st June, 2019 which has left an adult male dead.
According to reports, shortly 7:00pm, a traffic collision occurred at the junction of Prince Charles Drive and Fox Hill Road, involving two vehicles. As a result, the male drivers, became involved in an altercation, resulting in one of them being stabbed multiple times about the body. Paramedics transported the injured man to hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Police have taken a 32 year old male into custody in connection with this incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
POLICE INVESTIGATING SHOOTING INCIDENT
Police are investigating a shooting incident Friday, 21st June, 2019 which has left an adult male detained in hospital.
According to reports, shortly after 7pm, a male was walking on Malvern Road, Yellow Elder Gardens, when he was approached by an armed man, who opened fire in his direction, hitting him about the body before making good his escape. The injured man was transported to hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
