Nassau police launch island-wide manhunt for 2 suspects in Pinewood shooting death and for armed robbery suspect of a fast-food restaurant

POLICE LAUNCH ISLAND-WIDE MANHUNT FOR TWO SUSPECTS IN PINEWOOD GARDENS SHOOTING DEATH

Nassau, Bahamas - Police have launched an island-wide search for two suspects responsible for the shooting death of a man that occurred on Saturday 19th March 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 12:00midnight, a man was standing outside of a sporting lounge located on Sequoia Street, Pinewood Gardens talking with friends, when two males armed with handguns approached and shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was rushed to hospital where he later succumbed.

Investigations are ongoing.

ISLAND-WIDE MANHUNT LAUNCH FOR ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT

Police have launched an island-wide search for a male suspect responsible for an armed robbery of a fast-food restaurant that occurred on Saturday 19th March 2016.

Reports are that around 6:00am, a man armed with a handgun entered a fast food restaurant located on Prince Charles Drive and demanded cash.

The male suspect made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

Investigations are ongoing.
