RBPF Nassau : Police searching for suspects in shooting & armed robbery s

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are searching for two males responsible for a shooting that has left a man detained in hospital on Tuesday 8th August 2017.

According to reports, shortly before 9:00pm, a man was standing in front of his business place located on Zion Boulevard, when two males on a Trail motorbike armed with handguns approached and shot him before speeding off. The man was taken to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.


Police are searching for three males responsible for an armed robbery that occurred on Tuesday 8th August 2017.

According to reports, shortly after 12:00am on Wednesday 9th August 2017, a man and a woman had just pulled up to their home located at Linkford Street off Soldier Road in their black Colorado truck license plate number AK3808, when three males armed with firearms approached and forced the them into their home. The suspects then robbed the man and woman of a large amount of cash, their truck and a brown Buick Lacrosse car before speeding off.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to the public to share information on any Illegal/suspicious activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, members of the public are urged to anonymously contact the police at 919 or crime stoppers at 328-tips (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands).
