POLICE INVESTIGATE AN OVERNIGHT SHOOTING
Nassau, Bahamas - Police have launched an island-wide manhunt for the suspect responsible for a shooting that has left a man in hospital on Tuesday, 19th December, 2017.
Shortly after 10:00pm, Police received a report that a man was walking on McQuay Street off Nassau Street when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
ILLEGAL FIREARMS RECOVERED
Shortly after 11:00am on Wednesday,
20th December, 2017 Eastern Division Officers, acting on information
went to a an abandon building on Ferguson Street, Fox Hill, where they
searched and recovered a black Springfield XPS 9 millimeter pistol and 6
round of ammunition.
No arrest was made in this matter. Investigations are ongoing.
