RBPF Nassau: Police investigates suspected suicide - Drug seizure report

POLICE INVESTIGATES SUSPECTED SUICIDE

Nassau, Bahamas - Police on the island of New Providence are currently investigating an alleged suicide which occurred on Tuesday, 19th February, 2019.

According to reports, shortly before 10:00pm, an adult male was discovered at his Malcolm Allotment apartment with injuries to his head. Paramedics were called to the scene; however they were unsuccessful in reviving the man, he was pronounced dead. An Autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death. 

Investigations are ongoing.

DRUG SEIZURE REPORT

Police, with assistance from the public have recovered a considerable amount of Suspected Marijuana, on Tuesday, 19th January, 2019

According to reports, shortly before 10:00am, Drug Enforcement Officers, acting on information searched an abandoned building and property on John Road off Baillou Hill Road and recovered a white plastic bag containing 294 packages of suspected marijuana.

No arrests were made in this incident. Investigations are ongoing.
