POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN SOLVING COUNTRY’S LATEST HOMICIDE.

Police on the Island of New Providence are investigating an incident, which has left an adult female dead.

According to reports, shortly after 6:00pm, a man was working on a farm at Cowpen Road east of the Bone Fish Pond, when he discovered a female who appeared to be unresponsive, with injuries to her body. Emergency Medical Services Personnel were called to the scene and attempted to revive the woman, but were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead on scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING INCIDENT

Police on the Island of New Providence are investigating a shooting incident Sunday, 1st July, 2018, which left two adult males with injuries. 

According to reports, shortly before 10:00pm, two males were sitting in a vehicle in front of a residence on wellington Street off St. Vincent Road, when they were approached by two men who opened fire on them, resulting in both of them being shot. The men were able to drive to a police station, and transported to hospital via ambulance, where they are listed in stable condition. 

Investigations are ongoing.

SUSPECTS TO BE ARRAIGNED IN COURT

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are pleased to report that five (5) suspects will appear in the Magistrate Court, Monday, 2nd July, 2018, at 2:00pm to be formally charged in connection with seven recent homicide investigations.

They are:  

23 and 24 year old males to be formally charged with Murder and Armed Robbery  in connection with the death of Robert Smith Jr., which occurred on 24th May, 2018 at Lobster Avenue.

They will be charged with two counts of Murder in connection with the deaths of Malik and Delano Cartwright which occurred on 9th June, 2018 at Jerome Avenue.
They will also be charged with Murder in connection with the death of Anthony Thompson which occurred on 17th June, 2018 at Faith Avenue South.

24 and 29 year old males will be charged with Murder in connection with the death of Anthony Brice which occurred at Fox Hill on 11th June, 2018.

27 and 29 year old males to be charged with Murder in connection with the death of Donathan Hanna which occurred at Summer Breeze Estate off Golden Isles Road on 26th June, 2018.

20 year old male to be charged with Murder in connection with the death of Errol Williams which occurred at A. F. Adderley School on 12th June, 2018.
