Nassau police seek suspects in Old Boat Alley murder - 4 armed robbery suspects being sought - DEU seized 2 Handguns and Ammo

POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN OLD BOAT ALLEY SHOOTING DEATH

According to reports, shortly after 9:00pm on Thursday 8th October 2015, a man was standing in the Street with another man at Old Boat Alley, when persons unknown approached and shot him. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigations are ongoing.

SUSPECTS IN 4 ARM ROBBERIES BEING SOUGHT BY POLICE

In the first incident, shortly before 4:00pm on Thursday 8th October 2015, a man was standing in front of a business establishment located on Madeira Street, when a man armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of cash before speeding off in a dark blue vehicle.

In the second incident, around 10:00pm on Thursday 8th October 2015, a man was parked in his 2003 burgundy Nissan Sentra vehicle at the Montaque Boat Ramp on Eastern Road, when three males armed with handguns approached and robbed him of his vehicle before speeding off.

In the third incident, shortly before 10:00pm on Thursday 8th October 2015, three men were changing a vehicle tire in front of a service station located on Shirley Street east, when two men in a burgundy Nissan Sentra vehicle armed with handguns approached and robbed them of two cell phones before speeding off.

In the final incident, shortly after 1:30am on Friday 9th October 2015, a man was walking through a track road located on Kemp Road, when two men armed with a handgun approached and robbed him of a gold chain and a tablet before fleeing on foot.

Investigations are ongoing.

DEU SEIZED 2 HANDGUNS AND AMMO

According to reports, around 1:30pm on Thursday 8th October 2015, officers from The Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) acting on information, went to Pine Yard Road where they uncovered 2 handguns along with 5 rounds of ammunition. No one was arrested for this find.
