Armed robbery at major supermarket on Mackey St., 2 men wanted by police

Nassau, Bahamas - Police are searching for two men responsible for the armed robbery of a major supermarket that occurred on Thursday 21st January 2016.

Reports are that shortly after 7:30pm, two men armed with handguns entered a major supermarket located on Mackey Street, where they held employees at bay and robbed the establishment of an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing in a dark green Nissan vehicle.

Investigations are ongoing.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
