POLICE SEEK HELP IN SOLVING A SHOOTING DEATH
NASSAU, Bahamas - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a shooting incident that has left a man dead on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.
Preliminary
reports are that shortly before 11:00pm, a man was standing in front of
a home located at Valencia Drive, South Beach, when he was shot. The
man was transported to hospital in a private vehicle where he later
succumbed.
Investigations are ongoing.
POLICE SEEK HELP IN SOLVING IN TWO ARMED ROBBERIES
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspects responsible for two armed robberies that occurred on Tuesday 2nd February 2016.
In the first incident, shortly after 2:00pm, a man was exiting his vehicle outside of a local bank on JFK Drive, when three men armed with firearms in a white Honda stream vehicle license number 221042 approached and robbed him of his knapsack containing personal before speeding off.
Later that evening shortly before 7:00pm a woman was standing in front of her residence located at Mount Tabor Estates off Charles Saunders Highway, when a male armed with a handgun approached and robbed her of her purse before fleeing on foot.
Investigations are ongoing.
