Nassau, Bahamas - POLICE are investigating a shooting incident that has left a woman detained in hospital on Thursday 27th November 2014.
According to reports, around 6:00pm a woman was involved in an altercation with her nephew who had a dispute with her son on Baillou Hill Road South. Shortly before 8:00pm that same evening, the woman was standing in front of a home located in Garden Hills #3, when her nephew armed with her handgun approached her and shot her in the thigh before fleeing on foot. The woman was transported to hospital, where she is detained in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
