RBPF Nassau make 16 arrest in 24 hrs and cite 108 drivers

Nassau, Bahamas - 16 ARRESTED BY MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS DURING 24 HOURS PERIOD Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Priorities for 2014, Mobile Division saturation patrols intended to reduce crime and to minimize the ability for criminals to commit criminal activities resulted in the arrest of six (6) persons for various criminal offences and ten (10) persons for outstanding criminal warrants during the past 24 hours.

108 DRIVERS CITED - Consistent with the Commissioner’s 2014 Policing Priorities, officers from the Northeastern Division conducted an operation in the division over the past two days that targeted persons suspected of committing criminal offences and persons driving in breach of the rules of the road.The operation resulted in 108 drivers being cited for various traffic violations and the arrest of three persons for outstanding criminal warrants.
