Social media video postings leads to the arrest of 6 juvenile males - In response two recent social media video postings of two young males and a female being attacked, police have arrested six juveniles for assault and causing harm.

Police initiated an investigation after receiving two official complaints, one, from a male and a female who were attacked by a group of males and the other from a male who was attacked by another male. Video recordings of both incidents were subsequently publicly posted on various social media sites. The investigation led to the arrest of the six suspects by officers from the Southwestern Division on Tuesday 1st September 2015.

Police seek public help solving shooting incident - According to reports, around 10:00pm on Tuesday 1st September 2015, a man was walking on Beaumontia Avenue, Gardens Hills, when a male armed with a handgun approached and shot him to the body. The man was rushed to hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Investigations are ongoing.
