Family Guardian Insurance has the following position open in their Nassau branch:
Senior Account Executive – Property & Casualty
JOB PURPOSE:
Coordinate all sales and marketing activities related to FG Insurance Agents & Brokers (FGIAB) and effectively attract and manage relationships with all FGIAB clients.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement a strategic plan to address the development and growth of the property and casualty line of business including, but not limited to, creating and implementing:
-
a public relations strategy and which includes partnership with the public relations team
-
strategies to facilitate the sales of property and casualty products
-
Increase property and casualty business for the company
-
Organize, conduct and supervise sales meetings and seminars
-
Provide training and development that will motivate and inspire the sales force
-
Assist in the preparation of the annual sales budget for FGIAB
-
Recommend incentive programmes to increase general insurance sales volume
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
-
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in Property & Casualty sales and administration within the property and casualty business
-
Property & Casualty Insurance related training experience
-
Certificate of Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute preferred
-
Bachelor’s degree in business preferred
-
Demonstrated experience in leading a multi-tasked team
-
Strong experience in the area of underwriting, compliance and pricing
-
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Outstanding leadership and decision making skills
-
Outstanding organizational skills & ability to work with minimal supervision
