Party Like A Mother...

An overworked and under-appreciated mother who is exhausted to the point that she feels she is about to snap teams up with two like minded mothers. Together they go on a quest to liberate themselves from their responsibilities which puts them on a collision course with a clique of disagreeable moms.

Amy Mitchell is a mother of two who has just found out that her husband has been dating a web cam model and must come to grips with the fact that she works more than anyone at her job. Kiki is a mother of many who is finding out that there is more to herself than just taking care of her children & husband and is looking for an outlet for her growing frustration. Carla is a mother of one who is living life with a carefree attitude when it comes to parenting, working at her job and hooking up with anyone open to it. Gwendolyn is a mother who is also the head of the PTA and with the help of her clique has been making things hard for other moms who do not meet her standard of parenting.

Bad Moms
is a fun comedy that does not take itself too seriously while shining a light on what it takes to be a parent in the modern world. The female cast in the movie is brimming with talent and everyone is able to bring something to each scene they are in no matter how long they are on the screen. Jon Lucas and Scott Moore do a cool job writing and directing this film which shows their potential for edgier film making. This movie does the best in can with a sitcom premise but plays it safe in many ways where they hint at a movie with a little more bite. There is room for improvement in this motion picture, but if there are any parents who have ever wanted to just vent I can recommend this movie for a few good laughs.

I rate this movie a 3 out of 5.

P.S.  There is a nice mid credit scene that shows the mothers of the main cast members talking about how they mothered their daughters.
